Classical ballet and contemporary dance for kids age 3 and up, following the Ruth C. Petrinovic syllabus that combines Vaganova, Cecchetti and RAD techniques. Ballet Palm Beach Academy is both a training school and professional company, so your kid gets instruction from faculty who also work with professional dancers. Classes range from fairy tale-themed creative movement for preschoolers to intensive pre-professional training with pointe work and partnering. Advancement is based on skill rather than age, and students at most levels can audition for the company's Nutcracker performances at the Kravis Center.
