Acting, musical theater, and creative writing programs run by husband-and-wife team Kat and Jeff focus on building confidence and teamwork alongside performance skills. Black Dog puts on mainstage productions like their original one-act Ghost Story, plus summer camps that culminate in full musicals performed at local venues. Programs serve kids in grades 2-8 for productions and grades 5-12 for summer camps. Summer camp runs for three weeks and includes rehearsing and performing a complete musical. Black Dog Productions is a company that empowers children through the power of the Performing Arts. We offer a variety of classes, productions, audition prep camps, and workshops for children in grades K-9. Our classes include Acting & Improv, Musical Theater, and Beginning Acting. We also provide audition preparation programs for children who are interested in auditioning for theater or Communication Arts programs in middle school or high school.   Kids audition for and perform in original mainstage theatrical productions like the one-act Ghost Story. The program is for kids in grades 2-8 and performances take place at professional venues like Palm Beach State College. Auditions are held in January with performances in May.

• Summer Musical Theater Camp

  Kids rehearse and perform a full musical production over three weeks, culminating in two performances at a professional theater venue. The camp runs Monday through Friday from 9am to 2pm for kids entering grades 5-12. Recent productions have included The Lightning Thief based on the Percy Jackson story.
