A working goat dairy that's been operating for over 20 years, Delilah's focuses on daily milking and making kefir from their Nubian goats. The farm runs on a twice-daily schedule with hands-on care for both adult goats and bottle-feeding kids during kidding season. Kids can see real farm life in action, from milking routines to baby goats bouncing around after feeding time. The setting gives your kid a chance to learn about where milk comes from and the daily work involved in caring for dairy animals.

  Delilah's Dairy Goats Program gives teens a chance to get hands-on with real farm life on a working urban dairy farm. You'll work with the herd of Nubian goats, learn about milk production and kefir making, and help out with the farm's other animals like chickens, ducks, and bees. The program runs Saturday mornings and evenings, so you can fit it into your schedule. At just a dollar per session, it's an incredibly affordable way for your 15-17 year old to experience what it actually takes to run a small-scale dairy operation and connect with real farm work.
