About

Ballet training using the Cuban methodology starts with pre-ballet classes and progresses through structured levels up to pre-professional training. L&M Ballet is run by artistic directors Luis Javier Fuentes and María Pellejero, both trained in the Cuban National Ballet School system. Classes begin with pre-ballet for young kids focusing on space awareness and musicality, then move through Level I (ages 6-9), Level IA (ages 8-12) for serious ballet training and pre-pointe preparation, Level II (ages 12-13+) for more athletic technique work, and Level III (ages 13+) which is audition-only pre-professional training. The studio also offers contemporary, jazz, and acro classes.
