Living Learning Libraries

About

A library specializing in "living books" - lyrical, character-focused literature mostly from earlier eras that founder Michelle Howard has curated as alternatives to modern textbooks and typical library offerings. The 50,000-book collection spans all academic subjects for PreK through grade 12, with an emphasis on wholesome content, virtue, and what Howard calls "immaterial truth" delivered through rich language and art. Parents use the books both as supplements to existing curriculum and as primary educational resources for homeschooling. Your kid can browse the collection during open hours or you can search their online database and reserve books for pickup. The Palm Beach Gardens location operates several days a week, and the staff helps match books to each child's specific educational needs and interests.

The team helps families find age-appropriate books for each child's specific educational needs and interests.
