The park features an assortment of displays that represent the variety of animals and plant species native to South Florida and provides an excellent opportunity for bird watching and nature photography.Hours of AvailabilityThe Sanctuary is open to groups and closes daily at dusk. See the Village Park page for specific hours of availability.Peaceful Waters Preserve will be closed the 2nd Tuesday of each month for maintenance between the hours of 7 AM to 12 PM.Peaceful Waters Sanctuary RulesAlligators are present on refuge grounds.
