A nature preserve with boardwalk trails through South Florida wetlands where kids can spot native birds, turtles, and sometimes otters from elevated walkways. The sanctuary focuses on showcasing local wildlife and plants in their natural habitat. Good for families wanting a quieter outdoor experience with younger kids who can handle the walk from parking to the main boardwalk area. The preserve is open to groups and closes at dusk, with maintained trails that work well for nature photography and bird watching.
