About

A 300-acre conservation area with nearly six miles of walking and biking trails, the SWA Greenway features diverse habitats from pine flatwoods to cypress swamps. The trails wind around lakes and through wetlands where you can spot rare birds like Wood Storks and Snail Kites, plus alligators, otters, and deer. Built for families who want to explore Florida wildlife up close, the trails have two main trailheads and connect to the larger Grassy Waters Preserve. School groups can book guided nature walks to learn about native plants and conservation, while self-guided resources help families navigate on their own.
